Noddle Calendars: Features You May Not Know You Have

Booking links, buffers, round robin, reminders, payments, and more.

If you've been using Calendly or a similar scheduling tool, you may not realize that Noddle includes all of those features — and more. Here's a rundown of the scheduling capabilities built right in.

Every calendar in Noddle generates a public booking link your contacts can use to self-schedule. Share it anywhere — email, SMS, website, bio link. No back-and-forth scheduling.

You can also create a booking widget that embeds directly into any page on your website, so visitors never have to leave to book.

Custom Availability Windows

Set exactly when you're available — by day, hour, and time zone. Configure:

  • Which days of the week you accept bookings
  • Your daily start and end time
  • A minimum advance notice (e.g., no bookings less than 2 hours out)
  • A maximum future window (e.g., no bookings more than 30 days out)
  • Date-specific overrides — mark specific dates as unavailable (vacation, holidays)

Buffer Time Between Appointments

Add a buffer before or after each appointment so you're never rushed from one call to the next. Set 15 or 30 minutes of built-in breathing room between bookings.

Appointment Types & Durations

Create multiple calendars for different appointment types:

  • 15-minute Discovery Call
  • 60-minute Strategy Session
  • 30-minute Follow-Up
  • 2-hour Onboarding Meeting

Each can have its own availability, duration, confirmation flow, and booking link.

Automated Reminders (Better Than Calendly)

Unlike standalone scheduling tools, Noddle connects bookings directly to your Automations. When someone books, you can automatically:

  • Send a confirmation email and SMS immediately
  • Send a reminder 24 hours before
  • Send a reminder 1 hour before
  • Follow up after the appointment with a thank-you or review request
  • Trigger a re-booking sequence if they cancel

None of this requires a separate email tool — it's all inside Noddle.

Round Robin Team Scheduling

If you have a team, Round Robin calendars distribute bookings automatically among available team members.

How it works: A client books an appointment through a single shared link. Noddle assigns the booking to whichever team member is available at that time, using either:

  • Optimize for Availability — first available team member gets the booking
  • Optimize for Equal Distribution — bookings are spread evenly across team members

You can also set priority levels so senior team members get bookings first when multiple people are available.

Staff Selection (Let Clients Choose)

Enable Staff Member Selection on a Round Robin calendar to let clients pick a preferred team member. If no preference is made, Round Robin logic takes over automatically.

Calendar-to-Contact Automation

Every booking in Noddle creates or updates a contact record automatically. The booked contact enters your CRM with:

  • Their name, email, and phone
  • The appointment date and time on their record
  • A tag or pipeline opportunity (if you configure it)

This means your calendar isn't just scheduling — it's feeding your pipeline and triggering your follow-up sequences.

No-Show Handling

When you mark a contact as a No Show in Noddle, you can trigger an automatic follow-up:

  • Send an SMS: "We missed you today — want to reschedule?"
  • Add a tag: no-show
  • Move their opportunity stage to "Rescheduling"

Payments at Booking

You can require payment when someone books an appointment — ideal for paid consultations, deposits, or session fees. Connect Stripe and set a price on any calendar. Noddle collects payment before the booking is confirmed.
