Creating & Managing Opportunities
Create, edit, and track deals and their value across pipeline stages.
An Opportunity is how Noddle tracks a potential deal — linked to a contact, placed in a pipeline stage, and assigned a value.
Creating an Opportunity
From the Opportunities Board:
- Go to Opportunities in the left menu and select your pipeline.
- Click + Add Opportunity in any stage column.
- Fill in: Contact, Opportunity Name, Stage, Estimated Value, Assigned To, Close Date.
- Click Save.
From a Contact Card:
- Open the contact's record.
- Scroll to Opportunities and click + Add Opportunity.
Via Automation: Use the Create/Update Opportunity action to create deals automatically when a form is submitted, appointment is booked, etc.
Opportunity Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Active deal, in progress |
| Won | Deal closed successfully |
| Lost | Deal did not close |
| Abandoned | No longer being pursued |
Marking a deal Won or Lost can automatically trigger an Automation.
Editing an Opportunity
Click any opportunity card on the board, update the details, and click Save.
Adding Notes
Open the opportunity, click the Notes tab, and add your call recap, next steps, or concerns. Notes are internal and help keep your team aligned.
Tracking Pipeline Value
The board shows a total value for each stage — the sum of all open deal values in that column. This gives you a real-time view of projected revenue.
