What Is a Pipeline?
Track deals visually through stages with pipelines and opportunities.
A Pipeline in Noddle is a visual tool for tracking where your leads and customers are in your sales or service process.
The Basics
A pipeline is made up of stages — the steps a contact moves through from first contact to closed deal. Each contact in a pipeline is called an Opportunity.
Example stages for a service business:
New Lead → Contacted → Proposal Sent → Negotiating → Won / Lost
You can create as many pipelines as you need, each with its own custom stages.
Why Use a Pipeline?
- See every open deal in one board view
- Know immediately which deals need action and which are stalled
- Track estimated revenue across all open opportunities
- Trigger automations when a deal moves to a new stage
Creating a Pipeline
- Go to Opportunities in the left menu.
- Click + Add Pipeline (or go to Settings > Pipelines).
- Name your pipeline and add stages in order.
- Save.
Pipeline Views
- Kanban (Board view) — cards organized in columns by stage; drag and drop to move deals
- List view — a sortable table of all opportunities
Use Kanban for day-to-day management. Use List view for filtering and reporting.
Multiple Pipelines
Run multiple pipelines for different parts of your business: Sales, Onboarding, Renewals. Each is independent with its own stages and opportunities.
