Understanding Email Campaign Statuses
What Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Sent, and the other campaign statuses mean.
Once you've sent or scheduled an email campaign in Noddle, you'll see a status label next to it in the Campaigns list. Here's what each status means.
Campaign Statuses
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Created but not yet sent or scheduled. |
| Scheduled | Set to send at a future date and time. |
| Sending | Actively being delivered to recipients. |
| Sent | Delivery is complete. |
| Paused | Stopped mid-send (e.g., a batch send paused manually). |
| Cancelled | Stopped before delivery completed. |
| Failed | An error prevented the campaign from sending. |
What to Do If a Campaign Fails
A failed campaign usually means there's an issue with your sending domain or email provider connection. Go to Settings > Email Services to review your configuration, then re-attempt the send.
Editing a Scheduled Campaign
You can edit or cancel a campaign that has a Scheduled status — but once it moves to Sending, changes are no longer possible.
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns.
- Find the scheduled campaign and click the 3-dot menu.
- Choose Edit to adjust the send time, recipients, or content, or Cancel to stop it entirely.
💡 Tip: Review your Campaigns list periodically. Draft campaigns that were never sent are easy to lose track of — set a reminder to either send or clean them up.
