How to Launch an Email Campaign

Go from a blank template to a sent email campaign, step by step.

An email campaign in Noddle is a one-time broadcast delivered to a defined audience. Here's how to go from a blank page to a sent campaign.

Step 1: Choose or Create a Template

Every campaign starts with a template.

  1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates.
  2. Click New, then select Email Marketing Templates.
  3. Browse the template library, preview options, and click Continue to open your chosen template in the Email Builder.

If you already have a saved template, skip to Step 3.

Step 2: Edit Your Template

  1. In the Email Builder, update your text, images, and layout.
  2. Click Save Template when done.
  3. To preview it, click the 3-dot action menu > Test Email, enter sender and recipient details, and click Send Test Email.

Step 3: Create the Campaign

  1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns.
  2. Click New > Select Template, choose your template, and click Continue.
    • Alternatively: In the Templates tab, click the 3-dot menu on a template and select Create Campaign.
  3. Your template opens in campaign mode.

Step 4: Configure & Send

  1. Click Send or Schedule.
  2. Configure your options:
    • Recipients — select a list, Smart List, or apply contact filters
    • Sender name and email address
    • Subject line and preview text
    • Send time — now or at a scheduled date/time
    • Tracking — open tracking, click tracking
  3. Click Review and Send, confirm your details, and send.

The campaign status will update from Sending to Sent once delivery is complete.

Sending Options

  • Send Now — delivers immediately
  • Schedule — delivers at a specific date and time you choose
  • Batch Send — delivers in timed batches (useful for managing traffic to a landing page or pacing your send)

💡 Tip: Always send a test email to yourself before sending to your full list. Check how it looks on both desktop and mobile.
