Building Funnels & Landing Pages
Create focused, single-action web pages for lead gen, bookings, and promotions.
A funnel in Noddle is a series of web pages designed to guide a visitor toward one specific action — booking an appointment, submitting a form, making a purchase, or claiming an offer. Unlike a full website where visitors can wander, a funnel keeps people focused on a single path.
Funnels vs. Websites
| Funnel | Website | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Drive one specific action | General business presence |
| Navigation | Minimal — guides visitors forward | Full nav menus, multiple pages |
| Best for | Lead gen, ads, promotions, bookings | Homepage, about, services pages |
| Pages | Usually 1–3 (opt-in, thank you, upsell) | Unlimited |
Use funnels for marketing campaigns and paid ads. Use websites for your general online presence.
Creating a Funnel
- Go to Sites > Funnels in the left menu.
- Click + New Funnel.
- Choose how to start:
- From Template — browse a library of professionally designed, conversion-tested funnels
- From Blank — build from scratch
- Funnel AI — describe what you want and AI generates a starting point
- Name your funnel and click Create.
Building Your Funnel Pages
Each funnel is made up of steps (pages). Common funnel structures:
- Lead Gen Funnel: Opt-In Page > Thank You Page
- Booking Funnel: Landing Page > Calendar Booking Page > Confirmation Page
- Sales Funnel: Sales Page > Order Page > Thank You / Upsell Page
To add a step:
- Inside your funnel, click + Add New Step.
- Name the step and choose a template or blank page.
- The page opens in the Funnel Editor — a drag-and-drop builder where you can add sections, text, images, videos, buttons, forms, countdown timers, and more.
- Click Save after editing each page.
Editing Pages in the Funnel Editor
The editor works by dragging elements from the left panel onto your page canvas:
- Sections — full-width rows that hold your content
- Text — headlines, body copy, bullet points
- Images & Video — visuals and embedded videos
- Buttons — CTAs that link to the next step, a URL, or a phone number
- Forms — lead capture forms connected to your Noddle contacts
- Calendar — embed a booking calendar directly on the page
- Countdown Timer — creates urgency for limited-time offers
Click any element to edit its content, styling, colors, and spacing. All changes are live-previewed.
Connecting a Custom Domain
By default your funnel lives on a Noddle subdomain. To publish it on your own domain:
- Go to Settings > Domains.
- Click Connect a Domain and enter your domain or subdomain.
- Follow the DNS instructions (add the provided CNAME or A record in your domain registrar).
- Click Verify.
- Back in your funnel settings, assign the connected domain to your funnel.
Publishing Your Funnel
When your pages are ready:
- Click Save on each page in the editor.
- Toggle the funnel to Published in the funnel settings.
- Share the funnel URL in your ads, emails, or social posts.
💡 Always preview your funnel on mobile before publishing. Most of your traffic will be on phones, and the editor lets you switch to a mobile preview view.
