Scheduling Social Media Posts with the Social Planner

The Social Planner in Noddle lets you create, schedule, and manage posts across your social media accounts from one place — no need to log into each platform separately.

Connecting Your Social Accounts
Before scheduling posts, connect your accounts:
- Go to Marketing > Social Planner.
- Click Connect Account (or go to Settings > Integrations).
- Select the platform and follow the authorization flow.
- Repeat for each platform you want to use.
Note: Instagram requires a Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected.
Creating a Post
- Go to Marketing > Social Planner.
- Click + New Post > Create New Post.
- Select which social accounts this post will go to (you can post to multiple platforms at once).
- Write your caption and add images or video.
- Preview how the post will look on each platform.
- Choose your action:
- Post Now — publishes immediately
- Schedule for Later — pick a date and time
- Save as Draft — come back to it
- Send for Approval — routes to a teammate or client for review
- Set as Recurring — repeats daily, weekly, monthly, or on a custom schedule
- Click Schedule or Post.
Customizing Posts Per Platform
Different platforms have different content requirements (character limits, image sizes, hashtag conventions). Noddle lets you write a base post and then customize the version for each platform individually — so your Instagram caption can be different from your Facebook post even though they're managed in the same workflow.
The Content Calendar
All scheduled posts appear in the Calendar view inside Social Planner. You can see the full month at a glance, drag posts to reschedule them, and spot any gaps in your posting schedule.
Bulk Scheduling with CSV
Need to schedule a month's worth of posts at once? Noddle supports bulk uploads via CSV. Prepare your posts in a spreadsheet (caption, image URL, platform, date/time) and upload it to Social Planner. All posts are queued at once.
Tips for Consistent Posting
- Batch your content creation. Set aside one day a month to write and schedule all posts for the next 30 days.
- Use recurring posts for evergreen content. Things like testimonials, tips, or FAQs can recycle on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Check platform-specific guidelines. Noddle shows content warnings if your image dimensions or caption length don't meet a platform's requirements before you post.
