Why Reviews Matter

For most local businesses, Google and Facebook reviews are a primary driver of new customers. A business with 50 five-star reviews consistently outperforms one with none — even if the service is identical. Noddle automates the ask so you collect reviews consistently without relying on anyone to remember to do it.

Connecting Your Review Platforms

Before sending review requests, connect your Google Business Profile and/or Facebook Page.

1. Go to Reputation in the left menu.
2. Click Settings.
3. Under Review Platforms, click Connect next to Google and/or Facebook.
4. Follow the authorization flow for each platform.

Once connected, incoming reviews from both platforms will appear in Noddle's Reviews tab.

Sending a Review Request

Manually (one contact):

1. Go to Reputation > Reviews.
2. Click Send Review Request.
3. Search for the contact, choose the channel (Email or SMS), and send.

Via Automation (recommended):

The most effective approach is to trigger review requests automatically after a positive interaction — appointment completed, job finished, payment received.

1. Go to Automations > + Create Automation.
2. Set your trigger (e.g., Appointment Status = Completed).
3. Add a Wait step (e.g., wait 1 hour after the appointment).
4. Add action: Send Review Request — choose Email, SMS, or both.
5. Publish.

Now every completed appointment automatically generates a review request without anyone on your team having to remember.

Review Request Balancing

If you have both Google and Facebook connected, Noddle can split review requests between platforms automatically. By default the split is 50/50, but you can adjust the ratio (e.g., 80% Google / 20% Facebook) under Reputation > Settings > Review Balancing.

Monitoring & Responding to Reviews

All incoming reviews from Google and Facebook appear in Reputation > Reviews. From there you can:

• See the star rating, reviewer name, and review text
• Read and respond to reviews without leaving Noddle
• Filter by platform, rating, or date

Responding to reviews — especially negative ones — signals to Google that you're an engaged business owner and can improve your local search ranking.

Displaying Reviews on Your Website

Noddle generates an embeddable Review Widget that shows your latest reviews on any page of your website.

1. Go to Reputation > Widget.
2. Customize the widget style and which platforms to show.
3. Copy the embed code and paste it into your website.

The widget updates automatically as new reviews come in — no manual maintenance required.
